BUYERS POLICY

TERMS OF USE

This MyEcoHome Inc.(“MyEcoHome”) Terms of Use Agreement (The “Buyer’s Policy Agreement”) contains the terms and conditions that govern your access to and use of the services and is an agreement between you (“The Buyer”) or the business you represent, and MyEcoHome Inc. By registering for or using the services, you (on behalf of yourself or the business you represent) agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.

What MyEcoHome Offers Buyers

MyEcoHome Inc. is a marketplace where vendors ("sellers") can sell eco-friendly products directly to buyers in Canada, the United States, UK and Internationally.

MyEcoHome sources out vendors believed to be reputable. The vendors are required to be transparent and honest with buyers. MyEcoHome asks vendors to accurately represent themselves, their business and their products. Vendors are asked to list the materials or ingredients that are used to make each product in their shop, and to briefly explain why that product is environmentally friendly. This will help buyers make good decisions. Although we try our very best to only offer eco-friendly items on our site, MyEcoHome does not guarantee the product listed by the vendor is eco-friendly.

Privacy

MyEcoHome is committed to protecting your private information to those that sell and purchase from our marketplace. We do not sell or lease your personal information. Information collected of individuals that visit our website and make use of our online services will be kept confidential and private unless otherwise noted below. 

We may share personal information with the following: 

• Companies and individuals that help us deliver our products to you, such as suppliers, payment service providers, logistics professionals, gift card suppliers, and delivery and freight companies.
• Professional service providers who help us run our business and provide support services to us, such as email marketing and marketing providers, software vendors, IT and other consultants.
• Government and law enforcement agencies and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary and appropriate to (i) comply with a legal process, subpoena, order, or other legal or regulatory requirement; (ii) enforce our terms of use or other policies; (iii) pursue available legal remedies or defend legal claims; or (iv) otherwise for the compliance and protection purposes described above.

MyEcoHome Inc. uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software for authentication and private communications to build users trust and confidence in the internet and website use by providing simple and secure access and communication of credit card and personal information.

Only the last four digits of your credit card number will be revealed when confirming an order, while the entire credit card number is sent to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

It is important for you to protect yourself against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Create a strong password and be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Making a Purchase

When the buyer makes a purchase, they are dealing directly with the vendor. All inquiries must be directed to the vendor. Buyers should make themselves aware of each vendors policies before making a purchase. Buyers may view store items in their own currency but all items will be charged in Canadian currency at the checkout. Therefore currency conversion fees may apply. 

Shipping

Vendors are responsible for processing and shipping items. Vendors are also responsible for responding to customer’s inquiries, customer’s cancellations, exchanges or returns. Buyers should make themselves aware of each vendors policies before making a purchase. In addition, the buyer may be charged customs fees-duties and taxes on their purchase and the buyer is responsible for paying these fees, unless otherwise stated in the vendors policy agreement. Returns

Buyers are entitled to cancel their order and receive a full refund. The buyer is entitled to a full refund or exchange depending on the vendor’s policy. Please refer to the product page and/or vendor's store for more details. In certain circumstances, some items may not be returned, for reasons such as for hygienic purposes. If for any reason vendors are not able to honour one of their store policies, they will let buyers know and keep them up to date on the process. Buyers should make themselves aware of each vendor's policy before making a purchase. Refunds will be refunded via MyEcoHome however, contact vendor to initiate a return. 

Warranties

MyEcoHome does not provide any warranties about the quality, safety or legality. Any legal claim relating to an item you purchased must be brought directly to the vendor. You release MyEcoHome from any claims related to the items sold or actions of vendors through our marketplace including defective items, misrepresentations by sellers, or items that caused physical injury, liability claims,

MyEcoHome is not responsible for the accuracy, copyright compliance, legality or decency of content posted by users. You release MyEcoHome from all liability.

We reserve the right to update these terms.

By Accepting the terms and use you agree to that you have read and understood this policy.

Voluntarily provided information which may include your name, phone number, address, email address, billing and/or credit card information etc. which may be used when you purchase products and/or services and to deliver services you have requested.

This site will only collect personal information that you knowingly and willingly provide by way of surveys, completed membership forms and emails, It is the intent of this site to use personal information only for the purpose for which was requested and any additional uses specifically provided on this site.

MyEcoHome Inc. may have the occasion to collect non-personal anonymous demographic information such as age, gender, household income, political affiliation, race and religion as well as the type of browser you are using, IP address, type of operating system at a later time, that will assist us in providing and maintaining high quality service.

MyEcoHome Inc. may collect and may make use of the personal information to assist in the operation of our website and to ensure delivery of the services you need and request. At times, we may find it necessary to use personally identifiable information to keep you informed of other possible products and/or services that may be available to you from MyEcoHome Inc.

MyEcoHome Inc. may also be in contact you with regards to completing surveys, and/or research questionnaires related to your opinion of current potential future services that may be offered.

MyEcoHome Inc. does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent or lease any of its customer lists and/or names to any third parties.

MyEcoHome Inc. may deem it necessary to follow websites and/or pages that their users may frequent to find out what types of services and/or products may be the most popular to customers or the general public.

All users and/or visitors to our website have the option to discontinue receiving communication from us and/or reserve the right to discontinue receiving communications by way of email or newsletters. To discontinue or unsubscribe to our website please send us an email.

MyEcoHome Inc. reserves the right to update and/or change the terms of our policy, as such we will post those changes to our website, so that our users and/or visitors are always aware of the type of information we collect, how it will be used, and under what circumstances, if any, we may disclose such information. If at any point in time MyEcoHome Inc. decides to make use of any personally identifiable information on file, in a manor vastly different from that which was stated when this information was initially, collected, the user or users shall be promptly notified by email.
